About setting items

Initial memory size(MB) Set initial value of memory size used in server with MB (Megabyte). The server secures value memory set first here, and enhances physical memory area to use if necessary. Please set the value that doesnot exceed "Maximum memory size". When the value is not set, it is 2MB.
Maximum memory size(MB) Set maximum of heap memory size used in server with MB (Megabyte). The server enhances the physical memory area used if necessary. Maximum value should be set here. However, besides the heap area specified here because the server (Java process) needs the stack area etc. an actual set value is recommended to specify about 50% of a physical memory for a standard even if it is the maximum. An other maximum of this value is less than 4000 in the Solaris8/9(SPARC) platform, and less than 2000 in Solaris2.6 and x86 platform. Especially in Windows, the server might not be able to be started when specified value exceeds 1400~1500. (The threshold limit value is different according to the version of Windows and the version of this product. ) When the value is not set, it is 64MB.
Other options Set start options of server. Start options of Java program can be specified. However, please become impossible to start the server when a wrong setting is set and pay attention to this setting. -Xms is set in "Initial memory size", and Xmx is set in "Maximum memory size" so please do not input here.
