Setting Up Version Control
The Flow Service provides graphical tools that integrate version control. The Flow Service includes support for the Subversion version control system. See below to configure Subversion, configure version control settings for Flow Service users, and find the key concepts you'll need to interact with Subversion.
Setting Up Subversion
See Setting Up Subversion for required versions, installation requirements, and requirements when you connect to the same repository with other Subversion clients, other than the Flow Service.
Configuring Version Control for Flow Service Users
You can then configure Flow Service users to connect to the repository. Configure a user's version control settings in the management console, on the Tools > Account page.
Subversion Key Concepts
See Subversion Key Concepts to get oriented using the Flow Service as a Subversion client.
Next Steps
See the following sections to get started using the Flow Designer:
- Flow Designer workflows: Work with the tree pane and file pane -- get status information and select files. To run commands on the selected files, you can use the version control toolbar or right-click.
- Version control workflows: Follow version control workflows in the Flow Designer.
