Editing Mapper Functions
The following procedures show how to select, then cut, copy, paste, and delete mapper functions in the mapping area.

Selecting Mapper Functions and Links
To select mapper functions and links, do one of the following:
- Click anywhere in the workspace, hold, then drag the dotted rectangle.
- Hold Ctrl and click each mapper function and link you want to select.
To select all mapper functions and links, do one of the following:
- Press Ctrl-A.
- In the main menu, click Edit > Select All.
To deselect all mapper elements, click a blank space.
Cutting, Copying, and Pasting
After you select mapper elements, you can right-click one of the elements or use the edit toolbar to cut, copy, and paste:
- Cut: Click
. - Copy: Click
. - Paste: Click

Delete
To delete mapper elements, do one of the following:
- Select the elements you want to delete.
- Right-click an object you selected, then click Delete.
- Press the Delete key.
Note
By default, when you delete mapper functions that you've connected links to, the input links and output links are automatically connected. To delete the mapper functions and their links, hold the Ctrl key while you press Delete.
Or, to delete the connected links too by default, do the following:
- Click Tools in the main menu and click Settings.
- Open the View/Edit tab.
- In the Mapper/Function Lib section, clear the option to keep links on delete.
When you clear this option, hold Ctrl to automatically connect the input links and output links.
